Become an Underwriter
Underwriters play a vital role in sustaining the arts in the Kern River Valley. By becoming an underwriter, you provide ongoing support for a specific artistic program or your choice.
Your contributions help cover the startup and operating costs of programs, including equipment, materials, supplies, and instruction, making it possible for the Kern River Valley Art Association to offer meaningful creative opportunities to our community.
Individuals, families, and organizations may choose to underwrite a program for a single year or for multiple years.
Program Underwriting Opportunities
We offer several levels of programs underwriting for individuals, families and businesses who want to support the arts in the Kern River Valley
Community Supporter -$500
Helps provide art supplies, materials, and resources for classes, workshops, and community art programs.
Recognition
Name listed on our website, recognition in our annual supporter list.
Arts Advocate – $1000
Supports the instruction, materials, and programs cost for community workshops and creative programming.
Recognition
Name or business listed on our website, recognition in event programs and supporter materials
Creative Champion – $2500
Helps underwrite a specific class, workshop series, or creative program offered by the Kern River Valley Art Association.
Recognition
Name or business listed on our website and select promotional materials, recognition at sponsored events or programs.
Program underwriter – $5000+
Provides major support for ongoing artistic programming and community arts initiatives.
Recognition
Prominent recognition on our website, recognition in event materials and promotions media, opportunity to be recognized as the sponsor of a specific program.
Endowments
An endowment is a lasting gift that helps sustain the mission of the Kern River Valley Art Association for years to come. Endowments may be created through a donation made during your lifetime or as part of your estate planning.
Donors may choose to support a specific program or allow their gift to support KRVAA’s greatest needs over time. Endowment gifts can include property, land, vehicles, stocks, or other assets.
Endowments may also offer opportunities for recognition or naming in honor of individuals, families, or businesses.
