The Kern River Art Association Is Famous for our Festivals
We’re known for two annual events, the ‘Sierra Arts & Crafts Festivals’ on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends in Circle Park, Kernville Ca.
Our Memorial Day Weekend festival for 2020 will extend from vendor booth setup (after 11:0 am Friday May 22nd) through public access from Saturday and Sunday May 23rd and 24th (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) to Memorial Day itself May 25, from 9:00 am to 12 noon. Tear-down will commence on May 25th after 1:00 pm. Please be on time.
Download your Vendor Booth Application or see the Requirements Here. Please note that only original manually produced art or craft items (no mass-produced items) sold by the original artist or crafter (or their representative) can be sold at our festivals. Also, you must have a valid California Resale License – no exceptions!
There are usually vendor booths for food and refreshments. Two restaurants are just across the street, “Cheryl’s Dinner” and “That’s Italian”. The “Cracked Egg Cafe” is just around the corner for breakfast. Also food truck is often parked across the street for refreshments and sandwiches. A KRVAA Administration tent will be set up to to assist you.
